Headcanon

Larry is a son of Morpheus or Somnia, the god of dreams. His mother was a fortune teller who lived in a caravan, and so he lived on the move a lot wasn’t plagued my monsters much. He left his mother at 14 when she decided to tell him about the camp and he’s been at Camp Jupiter for two years. He hasn’t gone to see his mother since because he has no idea where she is. He got into the second cohort as he’s a good fighter, ruthless but disciplined, and it might also be a little to do with that he’s very influential being a son of the dream god. He is able to control people’s dreams but at the moment his own dreams are being controlled by Gaia, without even his father’s knowledge. At first he resisted Gaia but was drawn in by both intimidation and bribery. Gaia is using him to make sure distrust is created inbetween the camps. Now, he can’t even remember why he’s helping Gaia, he simply feels resentment towards everyone.

It is quite easy to trust him, as he has a friendly face and an easy way about people when he tries, however most of the time his expression is too cruel for anyone to like him. Larry’s words are polite and nice a lot of the time, but his whole being gives off hate and bitterness. He can be quite outspoken as he backed Senator Hank’s objection to the quest members being all Fifth Cohort. Also, he’s not afraid to threaten people with the fact he knows their secrets, or can figure them out as soon as they go to sleep. And everyone needs their sleep after all. He used to try his best to get on with people because then they’re easier to manipulate but he discovered pissing them off was easier for him and Gaia.
